The long-awaited sequel to "Litmus", "Glass Love" is about the beauty and art involved in surfing where the surfers are artists who not only surf, but create music, paint pictures and describe their experience.
Longboards, twins, stingers and swallow-tails are all featured. Wet deserted New Zealand and other spectacular surfing locations, all noticeable for their absence of other surfers.
Pat Curren shapes a board for son Tom who then takes it into the water for the first time and tries the board his father shaped and rode at Sunset and Waimea in the fifties.
Like "Litmus", Glass Love" will be a classic film to be treasured and enjoyed as long as waves are surfed.
