Filmmaker and surfer Thomas W. Brookins Jr. tells the story of a surf community which has endured the economic and social turbulence of New York's ups and downs.
The Borough of Queens has a unique surf culture made up of a rich history and an eclectic group of people from all over the world. These surfers are proud and full of the same aloha spirit passed on by generations before them.
